Rodrigo Rojas Palma
He was born in Chile on December 29.
Lawyer of the University of Chile, he leads the tax area and the area of Information Technology of Abdala & Cia.
Expert in tax matters as well as those related to information technologies. After more than 30 years of experience, he has developed a strong specialization in tax matters and also in computer contracting, protection of personal data, computer crimes, intellectual property, electronic commerce and other topics related to the Internet.
In addition, he has a vast experience in the field of information technology, telecommunications and systems, obtained in the legal advice of SONDA and around 20 companies of the group, for more than 20 years.
As of December 2017, he rejoined Abdala & Cia., where he worked from 2005 to 2014.
He was legal advisor of the Chilean Association of Information Technology Companies A.G. – ACTI, until 2016 and member of the Intellectual Property Committee of AmCham since 2007. In the period from 2009 to 2012 he was Director of Postgraduate and Extension of the Faculty of Law – Adolfo Ibáñez University.
